After School Program

North Forest Pines Elementary offers an After School Program on-site that is run by the Banks D. Kerr YMCA. This program is housed in the cafeteria and gym. For more information or to register for this program please stop by and pick up an application in the main office or contact the YMCA at 562-9622.

After School Care Hours: 3:00–6:00 PM
After School Monthly Fee: For 5 days per week the cost is $154 per child for YMCA members or $183 per child for non-members. For 3 days per week (M/W/F) the cost is $101 per child for YMCA members and $119 per child for non-members.
After School Late Fee : $5.00 for first 10 minutes or part thereof after 6:00 PM; $1.00 per minute after that.

* Due to lack of enrollment, North Forest Pines Elementary is unable to provide a Before School Program for 2008 - 2009.

Y Wednesdays Program

This new program addresses Wake County Public Schools' new dismissal times for Wednesdays. Parents may enroll in “Y Wednesdays,” a program that will cover after school care every Wednesday. Parents must register for the entire school year; registration for a single day at a time is not an option.

Parents already registered as regular participants in the YMCA after school program do not need to register for the Y Wednesdays program since after school care on Wednesdays is already provided . The YMCA will not charge any additional fees for regular registered participants, nor will the current rate change for the 2009-2010 school year.

The cost for the program is listed below:
YMCA Members:
$414 + $25 registration fee (breaks down to 12 monthly bank drafts of $32.42)

Non-Members:
$496 + $25 reg fee (breaks down to 12 monthly bank drafts of $39.25)
